As a dental consulting expert, I like to promote the importance of one of the most popular and most important vitamins, which is vitamin C. It boosts your immune system which in turn helps prevent diseases. Vitamin C can be found in so many vegetables and fruits.
There seems to be no advantage to taking excess vitamin C but there sure are disadvantage to taking too little, such as weakness, nosebleeds, swollen gums and being more prone to diseases in general as it weakens your immune system.
